Hi, I'm Danielle and I'm so happy you found me! I have been where you are now. I've been the exhausted mother trying to get through the day, feeling like a failure because I couldn't get my baby to sleep, resigning myself to being permanently sleep-deprived, while at the same time reaching my breaking point. My journey towards becoming a sleep coach began then, when I was expecting my second child. My first was sleeping terribly and, despite having read all the books I could get my hands on, I was stuck. I knew I couldn't spend ages getting my toddler to sleep while taking care of a newborn and then waking up at night with both of them. I reached out to a sleep coach and turned everything around. Not only was I able to instill good sleep habits in my daughter but I had the tools and the knowledge to get my son off to the right start and do the same with the babies who came after. I gave my family the gift of quality sleep and so can you!
As a mother of young children I hear from so many other moms about their sleep issues. It seems like everyone has their worries, from draining bedtime routines to transitioning from crib to bed or mixed feelings about bed-sharing, there's always something to work on. Seeing so many friends of mine struggle with sleep motivated me to become a certified Gentle Sleep Coach in May of 2017. I'm a big believer that well rested parents are happier, calmer parents. It may seem like a dream, but quality sleep for your family is within reach. I hold a Bachelors of Education from Hebrew Theological College and have worked with students of all ages and I look forward to working with you.
